Augmentin HCl Oral Suspension works by inhibiting the production of beta-lactamase, an enzyme that breaks down certain bacteria in the stomach and intestines.
The amount of drug in the body is determined by its half-life, which is the time it takes for the body to reach the drug level. After taking the dosage of Augmentin HCl Oral Suspension, it is excreted as inactive metabolites (i.e., water and inactive metabolites).
Augmentin HCl Oral Suspension will bind to the beta-lactamase enzyme and will help the bacteria to develop their own resistance to antibiotics.
The target of the drug is to decrease the amount of the active component (Amoxycillin) that is present in the oral suspension of Augmentin HCl Oral Suspension. This means that it will not affect the levels of the antibiotic in the bloodstream, but will increase the levels in the body.
You should take Augmentin HCl Oral Suspension as directed by your doctor and avoid taking it with other medications that you are already taking. You should also take the dosage of Augmentin HCl Oral Suspension in the dose that is right for you.
